Thanks for the show. One correction: The reference at the end – to the buildings is only half right. The Amigos School is in the Upton Street building, but even that school barely fits – that means the central administration is not there and will not move there. Central administration is still in rented space – although it is extremely cheap rental space – the conditions are also substandard. We are exploring how to get new space for central administration – now that the old police station is not available, since it is the fabulous Alice K. Wolf Center housing groups doing wonderful work.
As Susana gracefully put it – many issues were under discussion when she served. While there has been progress on many, there has been no progress on securing appropriate space for central administrative staff.
