Perhaps a few of us should appoint ourselves to the task of getting a complete list of these neighborhood organizations (including the settlement houses and similar resources), descriptions, history, how they are organized, and contact information. We could also use updates on the status of the various community school programs and neighborhood councils. The City’s lists are incredibly out of date.

    Archiving some of the historical materials from these groups would also be useful.
